DID YOU KNOW? -Nurse Anesthesiology is a high growth, advanced practice field, considered by many to be the pinnacle of the nursing profession. -According to the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, it takes a minimum of 7-8.5 calendar years of education and experience to prepare a CRNA. -“As advanced practice registered nurses, CRNAs practice with a high degree of autonomy and professional respect. CRNAs are qualified to make independent judgments regarding all aspects of anesthesia care based on their education, licensure, and certification.
